Nadia Comaneci, (born November 12th of November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej, (presently OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej [now Onesti Romania) Romanian gymnast who was the first gymnast to receive a score of a perfect of 10 points in the Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi is a Romanian gymnastics instructor who later became the coach for Comaneci, first discovered Comaneci at the age of six. Her first competition was at the junior national championships in 1969 placing 13th and she was the winner in the year 1970. She won three golds in her very first contest in a junior pre-Olympic meeting in 1972, which was a the communist bloc nations. The following year, 1973 as well as 1974, she became the junior champion in all-round competitions. In her debut as a Senior in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champion who won four golds and one argent. She took home the American Cup in New York City in 1976 becoming the first woman in history to complete a backward double salto as a dismount from the uneven bars that are parallel. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. In her teens she started appearing on travelling shows such as Ice Capades as a skater alongside her younger sister Nina Wayne. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942, in Chicago Illinois. Carol's first job was in entertainment in her teens. She began her career with her joining Nina Wayne to perform in Ice Capades, a traveling spectacle of entertainment. The shows featured ice skating that included theatrical performances.
